Dharmarth Trust employees call on DSS President, submit memorandum

JAMMU: Continuing their agitation on 21st day, Dharmarth Trust employees in their Jan Jagran Abhiyan on Monday met President Dogra Sadar Sabha and former Minister, Gulchain Singh Charak at Dogra Hall.
A delegation led by Senior Member of Dharmarth Trust Employees Association, Rajinder Shastri along with General Secretary Sunit Sharma, ex-President Th Karnail Chand, active members Brij Mohan Sharma, Rampal Sharma, Sneha Handa, ex-General Secretary Pritam Sharma¸Pujari Vimal Khajuria, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma and Purshottan Sharma met President DSS and submitted a charter of demands. “We demand to merge all the temples under Dharmarth Trust with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board to protect symbol of Dogra heritage or constitute independent board to run the affairs properly,” they apprised Charak.
After listening to issues of employees, Charak said all their demands and issues are genuine and Dharmarth Trust management must take action in this regard immediately. He further assured he would also take up their issue with concerned authorities for early redressal.
Earlier, the association members held a condolence meeting in premises of Ranbireshwar Temple to express grief and sorrow over sad and untimely demise of 21-yr old son of Association President Vivek Bandral. Members present on the occasion included Surjeet Singh, Parshotam Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, Rajinder Sharstri, Jagjeet Chand, Anil Sharma, Balwant Shatari, Harbans Shastari, Madan Sharma, Pt. Jeeven Kumar, Kundan Lal, Subash Shastri, Rakesh Shastari, Rekha Devi, Bandana Devi, Sneha Handa, Vimal Khahuria, Bablu Kumar, Pt. Ashwani Kumar, Sat Paul Pandit, Rajesh Kulkarni , Sagar Singh and Bhikham Singh.
