POONCH: Director General of Police, Prisons S K Mishra on Monday visited District Jail Poonch and took stock of security arrangements. He reviewed the reformatory programmes being run for the inmates. The DGP visited prisoners’ barracks and interacted with inmates regarding facilities being provided in the Jail. The DGP asked Superintendent district jail Poonch to liaise with Technical Education and Social Welfare Departments for introducing skill based training programmes for female prisoners. The DGP was accompanied by Masroor Ahmad Mir, Addl. Superintendent of Police, Poonch, Mohan Lal Sharma, DySP, Headquarter Poonch, Farooq Ahmad Khan, DySP JKAP 6th Bn. and Om Parkash, Asstt. Superintendent, District Jail Poonch.
