JAMMU: To curb the menace of food adulteration, a team of the Food Safety Officers under the supervision of Sanjeev Kumar, Assistant Controller Food (MCJ), Drugs & food Control Organisation (DFCO), Jammu carried out simultaneous inspections of the various food establishments including M/S Easy Day Store, Roop Nagar, M/S Vishal Mart, Janipur, M/S AR Traders, Nanak Nagar, M/S Komal Enterprises, Nanak Nagar and M/S Jot Enterprises, Nanak Nagar. During the drive, it was observed that Noodles and Pastas with tastemaker of reputed brands viz Top Ramen, Knorr, Sunfeast, Chings Hots, etc which were not approved by the FSSAI are being sold in the market. Accordingly all the food business organisations were instructed to stop the sale of all such products with immediate effect. Meanwhile, DFCO has directed to recall all such products from the market.
