UDHAMPUR: Purvi to face Parul in the final of Senior Girls category of Devinder Memorial Open Table Tennis Championship, organised by District Table Tennis Association Udhampur at Multipurpose Hall of Government Degree College Udhampur on Sunday.
Earlier in semifinals played on Saturday, Purvi beat Akriti by 2-1 and Parul defeated Monika by 2-0 in Senior Girls category.
In sub-junior boys quarterfinals, Mahi Kailu beat Gourav Jamwal by 2-0 and Anurag Jamwal outplayed Nanav Verma by 2-1. Sudansh Verma trounced Kartik Mahajan by 2-0 and Abhay Gupta downed Shivankar Sharma by 2-1 in junior boys quarterfinals.
The championship is being organised under the supervision of Sunil Sharma (President of the District Association), Sanjay Sharma (Senior Vice President), Kumar Tarun (Vice President), Ankit Sharma (Joint Secretary) and Sunny Sharma (Executive Member).
The matches were officiated by Rajat Khajuria, Akhil Bandral and Prikshit Khajuria.
