Developmental schemes being misused by PDP for personal benefit: Mir
STATE TIMES NEWS
KHANABAL: Lashing out at PDP BJP Coalition for discriminating people on political lines and interfering in implementation of developmental Schemes, JKPCC Chief G.A Mir said today that PDP is trying to strengthen itself by interfering in implementation of developmental and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes in Valley, which are being misused to get PDP benefitted.
While addressing meeting of senior office bearers of DCC Anantnag, Mir warned PDP of serious consequences and urged the party cadres not to allow PDP to misuse developmental schemes for personal benefit, as these are meant to benefit poor and common people of the State.
Stating that interference in implementation of MGNREGA, IAY, Swachh Bharat and other developmental schemes, Mir accused PDP of adopting biased approach against the common people in respect of developmental and other social schemes, which are being misused by PDP cadres for personal benefit.
Mir blamed PDP for interference and implementation of these schemes through its party workers and blue eyed persons and warned that such type of undemocratic activities are not going to save the dented image of PDP. He said people living below poverty line are being denied the right to get benefitted through these schemes merely on political lines, they are being forced to approach PDP leaders and workers for seeking benefit, which is not only unfortunate, but highly condemnable, Mir added.
Mir said PDP can no longer mislead people, as the people have realised how PDP has secured votes and then backstabbed them for the sake of coming into power. He urged upon the party workers to strengthen the common people and don’t allow PDP to misuse developmental schemes, as these are meant to benefit poor and common people.
