When Dr. Bhimrao Ambeyan Bedkar made the constitution, he had made a provision for reservation in it. They made it temporarily for about 10 to 15 years, but today it has been more than 70 years, but still the reservation is not decreasing or ending, rather it is increasing. Reservation has been given so that backward classes or Dalits are not exploited. There are many types of reservation. Reservation is also done on the basis of caste. Reservation is also in the field of education. There is reservation on the basis of religion also. There is reservation for women also. There are many people who also see reservation as a problem because reservation creates discrimination in casteism. Reservation affects the ability of capable people. Because of reservation, people also face the problem of difficulty in getting jobs. Those who are qualified people also have to go through such problems. Such problems arise due to reservation. In order to remove such problems of reservation, many people have different suggestions, in fact, if considered, the problem of reservation may be removed. Reservation should be done on the basis of poverty. Reservation should be given only for some time so that the Dalit class or lower class person can get an opportunity. Many problems arise due to long reservation. If someone is capable, then he should be given an opportunity to move forward. No matter what caste he may be. There was a time when backward classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes needed it very much, but today their dominance has spread everywhere, due to which, such people of general caste who are economically backward, they are very much in need of reservation. So, with time, caste, gender, religion, besides keeping in mind the economic condition and qualification, determine the reservation. So that everyone’s problem can be solved equally and everyone can get benefits of reservation in true sense.
