JAMMU: Deputy Excise Commissioner Executive Kusum Sharma JKAS spearheaded a transformative agenda during the Back to Village Programme Phase 5.

The day commenced with crucial meetings engaging PRI representatives and officers from Agriculture, Rural Development, Revenue, RDD, Irrigation, Food & Supply, and various other departments.

A significant highlight was the Mahila Sabha, where an enlightening awareness program on balanced diet and women’s health issues took center stage, addressing crucial aspects of well-being.

Continuing the momentum, a Gandhi Katha was recited, culminating in a Swachata Abhiyaan inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s principles. The community actively participated, contributing to the promotion of cleanliness and hygiene.

As the Prabhari Officer, Kusum Sharma dedicated time to extensively inspected various developmental works in the Panchayat  under PMJAY, MPLAD, and other schemes. Her commitment to environmental sustainability was evident as she planted a sapling at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, followed by a comprehensive review of ongoing projects.
