UDHAMPUR: A deputation of local people led by Councilor Priti Khajuria met Executive Engineer (XEn) of PMGSY and asked to get the road repaired as soon as possible from Jakheni to Laddan Power House Udhampur.
The deputation apprised the XEn that the road is in worst condition and has become the accident prone. Due to big potholes the two and three wheelers cannot ply over it.
The deputation further said that the bridge over the canal is also in poor condition and is inviting a major mishap. The deputation asked the XEn to carry out necessary repair to this bridge also on top priority.
The XEn PMGSY gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured the members the repair work will be taken in hand at the earliest possible.
