Depot holder, driver arrested for blackmarketing Kerosene Oil

MENDHAR : The Mendhar Police on Sunday arrested one depot holder and driver of a truck when they were caught red-handed while selling the kerosene oil in black market.
On the basis of complaints from the villagers regarding non-availability of kerosene oil in the village depot, the SDPO Mendhar Surinder Choudhary deputed a police team to keep a watch on the receipt and disposal of kerosene oil by the depot holder.
The police team headed by SI Tariq Khan under the supervision of SDPO Surinder Choudhary after collecting the required information conducted a raid and caught the depot holder Mohd Razak son of Baak Mohd resident of Arhi while selling kerosene oil to the driver of truck No JK02AN-5113 Mohd Shaqoor son of Mohd Nazir resident of Dehri Relote, Mendhar.
The police sealed the depot, seized the truck and arrested both the accused under FIR 202/14 section 3/7 Essential Commodity Act.
