This is regarding the Deoband Fatwa on chanting “Bharat Mata ki jai”. It appears that after dumping the development agenda, the BJP-RSS and ulemas are playing a settled ping-pong game. Initially, the RSS tried to force everybody to chant “Bharat Mata ki jai” or be dubbed anti-national and Owaisi, on the other hand, said he would not chant.
Now, the RSS says that the chanting should be voluntarily and the Ulemas have come out with a new Fatwa. Are we Indian first or Hindu-Muslim-Sikh-Parsi-Buddhist-Jain? Some Muslim ministers in the Central Government are showing that they are more loyal than the king.
