DEO, Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal interacts with political representatives, media persons

UDHAMPUR: For the smooth conduct of the counting of votes of Assembly Election 2014 of three Assembly constituencies of district Udhampur, District Election Officer, Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal interacted with political party candidates and representatives on Sunday in the Conference Hall of DC Office Udhampur.
General Observer Chenani, Mohite M.V, Senior Superintendent of Police, Suleman Choudhary, IAS Probationer, Kritika Batra, Returning Officer Udhampur, Pawan Parihar, RO Chenani, Vikas Sharma and RO Ramnagar, Deep Raj, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rajeev Magotra, District Information Officer, Dr. Ashwani Hansa and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
DEO thanked all political party representatives for maintaining peace and cooperation for smooth conduct of polling. She appealed to maintain such peaceful atmosphere during counting day also for the smooth conduct of the event.
Mudgal said that the counting of vote would be made on 23rd December, 2014 at Government Degree College, Boys Udhampur for all three constituencies from 8:00 AM. She said that there shall be restrictions to carry mobile phones to the counting halls and for the mobile collection, a separate mobile collection center also be made outside the counting venue. She urged all representatives of political parties for their cooperation to maintain law and order pre and post counting of votes. She also shared necessary guidelines of Election Commission of India (ECI)for the successful conduct of the counting of votes.
Later, DEO interacted with media persons of the district and passed necessary instructions to them for making coverage as per ECI guidelines during the counting day. She said that a media center has also been established at the venue for latest trends and updates of the event. She asked the media persons for their cooperation for conducting the event successfully.
