PULWAMA: To ensure strict implementation of Model Code of Conduct in district, a meeting with Returning Officers, Assistant Returning Officers and Nodal Officers was held under the Chairmanship of District Election Officer (DEO) Pulwama, here on Monday.
The DEO stressed upon the officers for implementation of the guidelines of Election Commission of India strictly. He directed the officers to ensure close coordination so that the free and fair elections are conducted in the district.
On the occasion, the booklets pertaining to Model Code of Conduct were also distributed among the officers.
