Denied mandate, Lal Chand to contest independently

BANI: Amidst crowd of workers, BJP MLA Master Lal Chand who was denied party mandate from Bani Assembly segment finally decided to contest upcoming election as independent candidate.
There was overwhelming response from workers who pledged to garner the support of public in favour of Lal Chand. He asked his workers to maintain social harmony and seek public mandate on the basis of development that was achieved in the last six years. Master Lal Chand alleged that there are a few anti social elements who are working against the principle of secularism and spreading their own agenda of classism which will ultimately lead to their self destruction.
Underlining the importance of elections, Lal said that vote is the fundamental right of every citizen and use it judiciously and elect their own representative . Attacking BJP, Master Lal said that party has underestimated the importance of public as the decision regarding allotment of tickets was taken without taking into account the opinion of public adding that this will prove fatal in the coming elections. He also asked his workers to educate the public regarding development initiatives which were taken in the last six years so that they may not fall prey to the false propaganda initiated by the opposition .
