Delimitation report is not fair, politically motivated: Patil

JAMMU: AICC Incharge Jammu and Kashmir Party Affairs and Member Parliament, Rajni Patil reviewed the current political situation with senior leaders of the party during her two days stay here.
She left for Srinagar in the afternoon to assess the situation there.
During her stay, she had detailed deliberations with the senior leaders and had interaction with individual leaders including PCC functionaries, DCC presidents, former ministers and legislators, frontal wings and other senior functionaries from entire province.
The leaders briefed her about the ground situation especially with regard to the delimitation which has been widely opposed by the majority areas because the commission has not followed the basic norms of delimitation and ignored the ground situations of topography, connectivity, population, continuity etc.
She was apprised about the resentment amongst people in most areas who believe the report is highly biased and politically motivated.
Patil expressed dismay that the delimitation report is not fair and politically motivated, a? there is large scale resentment amongst people.
She had detailed over view of the party affairs and the measures needed to further strengthen the party upto grass root levels. Leaders from different areas and walks met Patil during her stay here.
Later she left for Srinagar along with JKPCC Chief G A Mir.
