DODA: Danish’s brilliant all-round performance with 24 runs and two wickets guided Delhi Eleven to register win against Haryana Cricket Club (HCC) by 25 runs in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2016 held at Sports Stadium Doda.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda in collaboration with Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda.
Earlier, Delhi Eleven, batting first, set a target of 106 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 15 overs. Anurag (26) and Danish (22) runs were the main scorers. For HCC, Sanjay clinched three wickets while Ravinder took two.
In reply, HCC was bundled out for just 81 runs in 14.2 overs. Jagandeep was the top scorer with 26 runs while Happy Sharma contributed 18 runs. For Delhi Eleven, Anand and Zahid Rasool take three wickets whereas Danish took two.
Danish of Delhi Eleven team was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
The match was officiated by Munish Zutshi, Noushair Batt (Raja), Rinku Bhaduria and Ashok Sharma.
