Delegation of Kargil met with Principal Secretary, planning for restoration of power supply in 17 villages

Shotopa/ Kargil: 17 villages in Kargil are without electricity due to shortage of HSD with Power Development Department due to non release of funds from the State government.
In this connection a delegation from Kargil under the leadership of MLC Kargil Aga Syed Ahmad Razvi comprising of Former Executive Councillor and Nominated Councillor Zanskar Engineer Puchok Tashi and Ex Councillor and Leader Suru Abdul Rahim, met with B K Sharma Principal Secretary J&K at Civil Secretariat Jammu and requested for early release of funds to meet up the crisis of Shortage of fuel to the DG Sets in Kargil.
The delegation also called upon Director Planning and other concerned officers to press for immediate release of funds for restoration of Power Supply in 17 Villages of Kargil where the supply is disconnected due to non availability of HSD.
