KATRA: President School Education Officers Association Reasi Harish Dubey strongly resented the attitude of the Government towards its retired employees by forcing them to get into financial crisis.
Dubey said that the employees who were dependent upon their salaries up to Ist April 2014, have been totally deprived of their source of income since Ist May, 2014 adding that such retired persons continue to face lot of financial problems to meet their day to day expenditure and providing bread and butter to their families besides facing humiliation in the society.
He further said that it is a matter of pain that in spite of having sanctioned the pension and gratuity well in time, the same is not being paid to the employees by the Treasury officers for want of funds.
Dubey appealed to the Chief Minister to issue directions to the department of Finance to release funds in the relevant head of account so that the retired employees get their pension and gratuity.
