GANDERBAL: Host Degree College Ganderbal team lifted District Volleyball Championship trophy defeating Government College of Physical Education by 2-o.
The championship was organised by Ganderbal Volleyball Association under the aegis of Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir at Degree College Ganderbal Ground, here.
The championship was sponsored by J and K State Sports Council.
A total of six teams of the district participated in the championship which was declared open by the Chief Guest, Deedar Singh, Physical Director of the College.
The championship was concluded today with prize distribution ceremony.
Among others Sheikh Mohamad Shafi, District Secretary and Joint Secretary of Volleyball Association of J and K was also present on the occasion.
