JAMMU: The Directorate of Distance & Online Education (DD&OE) , University of Jammu (JU) organised an Expert Lecture to provide awareness about the ‘Role of DIETs and Functions of their Various Wings’ in the Education System in general and Teacher Education in particular.
The Resource Persons, Prof CL Shivgotra and Dr PK Dhar, Principal, Bhargava College of Education, Samba deliberated at length about the history, origin, objectives and functions of different wings of the DIETs.
The programme was reported as very informative and useful by the Teacher-trainees undergoing Personal Contact Program.
On the concluding day of B Ed PCP Programme today, the students expressed their gratitude to the programme coordinator, B.Ed. Programme, Prof Jaspal Singh for organising PCP, Field Visits & informative Lecture.
More than 350 students were present in the event.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Course Coordinator, Prof. Jaspal Singh.
