RAMBAN: DDC Ramban Farooq Shah Bukhari on Tuesday convened a high level meeting of ICDS, Rural Development, Education and Bank Officers at his office chambers for publicising and making the recently launched ‘Jan Dhaan Yojna’ by the Prime Minister of India a success for the overall benefit of people.
The meeting was attended by CDPOs, BDOs, ZEO Ramban and Lead Bank Officer Ramban. Lead Bank Officer threw light upon the scheme and its benefits for the common masses. He said that every household of the society has to be included in the scheme so that benefits thereof can be reaped even at the remotest village.
DDC directed all the officers to gear up their human resource such as VLWs, AWWs, Helpers and Teachers at the grass root level for ensuring cent percent financial inclusion in the entire district. He said that no household should be left without any bank account since the accounts are being opened at zero balance. He directed the officers to leave no stone un turned in making possible all the banking and insurance benefits to the common people.
