GANDERBAL: To reviews the implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission in the district, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal Sarmad Hafeez here on Wednesday.
Addressing the meeting, the DDC directed the concerned for identifying 15 pilot spots for carrying out the cleanliness drive in the district. He exhorted upon the officers to work with a missionary spirit so that the aim of the mission is achieved in the district.
The meeting was told that work on the construction of 500 Individual Household Latrines, 6 Community Sanitary Complexes and a number of School and Anganwadi toilets would be started soon.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Development, District Panchayat Officer, Sub District Magistrate, besides Block Development Officers and Tehsildars of the district.
