AKHNOOR: The students of DCM Public School joined hands with National Deworming Mission, a mission to keep each child worm free and disease free.
Kamal Lal, Community Health Officer Akhnoor organised a camp in DCM School under the supervision of the Chairman Satpaul Sharma and the Principal Rama Jamwal.
Students were administered Deworming tablets and were advised healthy food habits to stay healthy and disease free.
Free medicine by District Health Service Akhnoor were distributed to the students and staff as well. Students were advised to abstain from eating unhealthy food from vendors, to avoid unhygienic and germ infested food items, to wash hands before consuming any eatable and consume good amount of water.
Pamphlets were distributed to the students for awareness.
Students were briefed about causes of malnutrition and anemia.
