RAMBAN: In order to check the punctuality, availability of medicines, sanitation and to enquire the well being of admitted patients- DDC Ramban Farooq Shah Bukhari on Thursday paid a surprise visit of District Hospital Ramban.
During this visit DDC interacted with the patients and asked them about the availability of the doctors and medicines in the hospital. CMO Ramban S.D Khan was present on this occasion who informed the DDC that all the required medicines are available with them and the medical and paramedical staff in the hospital has been strictly instructed to maintain punctuality keeping in view the intensity of the accidents occurring on the national highway and the influx of patients coming for treatment because of the recent floods in the district.
Meanwhile DDC also visited a number of institutions in Maitra and checked the punctuality of the teachers and also interacted with the students.
DDC directed all the concerned officers of health and education to maintain punctuality and to effectively deliver the services to the needy persons at their door steps. He instructed them that in case of any deviation of the instructions strict action shall be taken under rules.
Earlier DDC met the prominent citizens of Ramban who interacted and put forth their valuable views before the Deputy Commissioner. Deputy Commissioner assured them that no stone shall be left unturned in making the services available at the door steps of the people and all out efforts are being made at every level for providing relief to those who are in one or other way affected in the recent floods in the district.
