UDHAMPUR: To assess the pace and progress of relief and restoration works, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Yasha Mudgal convened a review meeting of district officers on Saturday.
In the meeting, discussions were held upon the various issues which include distribution of relief material among the affected families, preparation of detailed report on fully, partially damaged houses and cattle sheds, damages of land and crop and other related issues .
Mudgal emphasised upon the revenue officers to speed up the assessment work and directed all the Tehsildars to submit the relief cases of respective Tehsils to her office immediately .
She instructed AD CAPD to distribute One month free ration to all the affected families soon. Later, the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal who is also District Election Officer convened a meeting of officers to review the election preparations in the district.
She directed all Tehsildars to make a list of polling station buildings which were damaged due to recent flash flood besides a list would also be prepared where the name of the polling stations are changed due to upgradation of schools as early as possible.
Among others Additional District Development Commissioner, Ajay Singh Jamwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma, Joint Director Planning, Rakesh Jamwal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rajiv Magotra, Sub- Divisional Magistrates, all Tehsildars and senior officers of all departments were also present in the meeting.
