Kishtwar: To review the arrangements for Republic Day celebrations, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana chaired a high level meeting of all departments at Kishtwar on Wednesday.
DC took a detailed meeting of the arrangements put in place by the concerned departments regarding security, barricading, sanitation, medicare besides others.
Rana directed Municipal Committee Kishtwar to intensify the sanitation drive and asked the officials to illuminate the government buildings.
He directed CMO to ensure the availability of ambulance and medical first aid camp at the venue site. Beside, various committees were constituted for different assignments during the function on 26th of January.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Kishtwar, Abrar Chowdhary said that fool proof security arrangements will be made for smooth and enthusiastic celebration of the National Day. He enjoined upon all the officers to cooperate with the security personnel during making necessary arrangements at the venue.
DDC also enjoined upon the officers to recommend the names of those officials who have performed their extra ordinary duties so that they may be awarded on the national festival.
The meeting was attended by SSP Kishtwar, ADC, CPO, ACR, Xen PHE, R&B, concerned Engineers, Tehsildar Kishtwar besides other officers of the district.
