UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary chaired Private Negotiations Committee (PNC) and collectors meeting of the district Udhampur to finalise the cases of land acquisition under private negotiation and compulsory acquisition for various developmental projects.
Meeting was convened for fixing the rates of land in various villages required for different projects as per Land Acquisition Act. Indenting departments were also present in the meeting for negotiating with the land owners.
DC said that such negotiations will expedite the process of land acquisition and help in speeding up the progress of the development of different projects in the district.
The chair approved rates of land village wise such as Rs 10 lakh per Kanal for Karlah Village, Rs 6.5 lakh per Kanal for Chalad Village, Rs 5 lakh per Kanal for Suna Village, Rs 5 lakh per Kanal for Thandar Village, Rs 2.75 lakh per Kanal for Kahri Village, Rs 7 lakh per Kanal for Mand Village, Rs 4.5 lakh per Kanal for Childi Village, Rs 5 lakh per Kanal for Ghantwal Village, Rs 1.5 lakh per Kanal for Brinda Lander Village, Rs 85000 per Kanal for Diggi Village, Rs 3 lakh per Kanal for Mada Village, Rs 5 lakh per Kanal for Lotta Village and Rs 2 lakh per Kanal for Barmeen Village.
Meeting was attended by ADC Angrez Singh Rana, ACR Rajeev Magotra, SDM Chenani Devendra Sharma, SDM Ramnagar Dharendra Sharma, SDM Basantgarh, Kewal krishan and Collector Northern Railways Sudershan Kumar, Collector Power grid Kamala Devi, SE PWD, officers of the Indenting departments and various landowners.
