KATHUA: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Ramesh Kumar asked all collectors to gear up their efforts in quickly disposing the land compensation cases of acquired land of the people across the Kathua District, so that the sanctioned and ongoing projects executed under various sectors especially construction of PMGSY roads, BOPs and 135 ft under Manyari Pilot project and other developmental works would be completed within prescribed time frame.
DC said this while addressing a meeting of all the collectors, to review the progress of land acquisition cases in the Kathua district, here today. ACR Kathua, Atul Gupta, Sub Divisional Magistrate’s of Hiranagar, Basohli, Billawar, Bani , Collector Thein Dam Project attended the meeting. Various issues related to land acquisition under PMGSY, and other land acquisition cases in which the draft and final award have been issued besides scheme wise details, amount of compensation received and disposed off were also discussed in the meeting.
