DBN Amarvilla wins inaugural tie

JAMMU: DBN Amarvilla outplayed MHAC Nagbani School by 5-3 in an inaugural match of first open Under-19 football competition, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Mini Football Association to search the talent in collaboration with Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here on Thursday.
The competition was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Prof. Dhian S.Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and physical Education University of Jammu.
Welcoming the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, Hony General Secretary of the Association, Dr. Brij Baloria highlighted the previous achievement of the association including winning of gold medal in the under-19 at Kanyakumari in 2013 and gold medal in the Senior Women Category, in Roorkee 2014.
The other dignitaries who were present in the competition were Romesh Sharma, Jai Bharat and Ravish Vaid.
The competition will be played on knock-out basis from 4th-6th December, 2014. The match was officiated by Arun Jamwal.
