DB gives two weeks time on airfare issue

JAMMU: In a public interest litigation filed by former President of Chamber of Commerce and Industries Y.V Sharma highlighting high air fare charged by airlines from Jammu to other destinations. The PIL has sought cap on air fare and make airlines accountable for the delay of flights from Jammu.
A Division Bench of State High Court Comprising First Puisine Judge Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar and Justice BS Walia after hearing both the sides observed that ASGI Sharma stated that the issues raised in this Public Interest Litigation are under active consideration in the Department of Civil Aviation and several Departments are being consulted on the same. DB grants two weeks time to filed detailed response in this regard.
