JAMMU: A Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur hearing a public interest litigation filed by former President of Chamber of Commerce and Industries Y.V Sharma seeking cap on air fare and make airlines accountable for the delay of flights from Jammu after hearing Sr. Adv BS Salathia with Adv Meenakshi Salathia appearing for the PIL observed that objections filed by the Director General Civil Aviation nowhere mentions about the stand taken by the petitioner regarding the statement made by the Prime Minister.The same was reported in Economic Times in its issue dated 30.10.2015 stating that the Civil Aviation Ministry will announce the India’s New Civil Aviation Policy, which has been under discussion for over a year and directed him to file reply with regard to the said stand as argued by the senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, which is also mentioned in the newspaper cutting dated 30.10.2015.
