Prime Minister Modi’s bold decision should be appreciated as it has given a blow to black money hoarders, drug smugglers and anti-national elements. Although the step was long overdue, but ‘Der aaye darust aaye’. The common man is facing hardships in exchanging currency notes, but after some days things will be normal. This historic step was necessary to tackle the menace of fake currency, corruption, black money and terrorism. Now, the Modi government should take steps to bring back black money from Swiss and other foreign banks.
