JAMMU: On the behalf of Darbar Peer Mitha Sarkar, Zulfikar Ali, Nakul Tagotra, Mir Mudassar and their team donated medicines and eatables for the victims of Assam Floods to the NGO ‘The Sara’.
The relief material was handed over to President ‘The Sara’, Gurjeet Kour, a well known working on crisis support and suicide prevention for its ‘Assam Flood Relief Mission 2016’ initiative. The medicines included anti-biotics, pain killers, cough and cold formulations, etc. and eatables shall be dispatched by ‘The – Sara’ to the relief teams of various organisations working on ground in Assam.
The -Sara in past has also rendered its services during 2014 J and K Floods, 2014 Assam Floods and 2015 Nepal earthquake.
