LEH: His Holiness the Dalai Lama is scheduled to give teachings on 28, 29 and 30 July 2022 at Jivetsal Teaching Ground in Leh. This was confirmed by the Ladakh Buddhist Association on Monday afternoon through an official press release. His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give 3 days of teaching in Ladakh at the request of the Ladakh Buddhist Association and the Ladakh Gonpa Association.
The office of the Dalai Lama also confirmed the teaching in Ladakh.
“On July 28 & 29 morning, His Holiness will give teachings on Chapter 9 of Shantideva’s ‘A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life’ (chodjug).
On July 30 morning His Holiness will confer the Avalokiteshvara Initiation (Chenresig Wang) followed by a short long-life prayer to His Holiness offered by the Ladakh Buddhist Association and the Ladakh Gonpa Association,” the Dalai Lama’s office said.
The Dalai Lama visited Ladakh on July 15 after a gap of four years. Thousands of devotees are expected to attend the teaching of the Dalai Lama in Ladakh.
