MAJALTA: An awareness camp was organised by Destitute And Welfare Association (DAHWA) under its Chairman S. S Sumbria in which large number of villagers participated.
Sumbara sensitised the villagers about the government’s decision to enhance the existing rate of pension of physically challenged people, old aged people, widows etc.
Tehsil Social Welfare Officer Raghu on this occasion distributed cheques to the beneficiaries. Prominent among those present on the camp include Anil Sharma, Jugal Sharma, Yashpal, Surinder Singh,Raghubir Singh,. Pathi Ram and Kaushalya Devi.
