JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association on Sunday selected the State team for the upcoming 19th National Road Cycling competition to be conducted by Cycling Federation of India at Jamakhandi, Karnataka.
Earlier, the trials for those boys from Srinagar took place at Nehru Park, Srinagar on 11th December. The trials for Jammu boys were conducted at MA Stadium, here on Sunday under the supervision of General Secretary of the Association, Om Parkash.
Secretary was assisted in the selection process by Joint Secretary, Mushtaq Ahmed and Coach, Rahul Kumar.
The Selected Team include Elite: Prince Choudhary and Sachin Sharma. Men U-23: Mohd Akbar Khan, Arun Sharma, Ishfaq Ahmad Rather, Mehraj Qayoom and Hilal Ahmad Sofi. Men Junior: Waheed Ahmad, Karan Digpal, Wasif Ahmad Laway and Amir Asad. Men Sub-Junior: Aakarshit Pathak, Manan Hassan, Yougesh Sharma and Syed Hafiz Lateif. Men Youth: Suhail Ahmad Dar and Sheikh Saqeeb Ul Raheem.
