Jammu: Cyber cell DPO Jammu, a dedicated unit to deal with cases of online frauds and cyber crime who has been relentlessly working day in and day out for ensuring the safety and security of masses in general has once again successfully recovered hard earned money of the complainant.
The complainant was a victim of a phishing scam. He was using yono app to send money he encountered a suspicious link. Upon clicking the link, he was prompted to enter an OTP (one time password). After entering the password, the complainant lost Rs.48,998.The complainants sensitive information such as the OTP, was compromised, leading to unauthorised transactions and the loss of Rs 48,998.
The cyber cell DPO Jammu took no time to start the investigations and acted swiftly while exhibiting the ultimate professional excellence through its dedicated skilled human resource which was put to task and in no time the lost amount of Rs 48,998/-was recovered from the erring fraudster.
