Cultural extravaganza marks ‘Silver Jubilee’ celebrations in JK Public School Kunjwani

JAMMU: JK Public School, Kunjwani Jammu in continuation of the celebrations of the ‘Silver Jubilee’ presented a cultural extravaganza on Wednesday at Nelsum Exquisite Millennium Hall.
The event was graced with the traditional and auspicious lamp lighting ceremony as a tribute to ‘Maa Saraswati’ by the Chief Guest Prof. R.D Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, Patron. Neelam Daluja, Members of Management Sidharth Daluja, Gautam Daluja and Sara Daluja.
Brig. Sukhdev Singh Director JK Educational Society, Shashi Chaudhary Principal JK College of Education, S.K Singh Principal JK Public School, Kunjwani and Suman Banbah Principal JK Public School, Panjtirthi were also present for the ceremony.
Further S.K Singh, Principal welcomed the guests and highlighted the achievements of the Primary Wing. He said that it is a great privilege that Prof. R.D Sharma is with us who has spent his entire life in the field of education was the Chief Guest. He informed that at JKPS a campaign has been started to build the students for 21st century by focusing on multiple intelligence and with future ready school.
Later, Prof. R.D Sharma, the Chief Guest complimented the members of management and appreciated the efforts of teachers and students for putting up an impressive and creative programme. He said that this school is contributing towards the overall development of children since long. He said that this is the age of 21st century learning and we should provide our children right schooling to help them in developing their logical and creative abilities. In the end he congratulated the management for contributing in the development of students in scholastic and co-scholastic areas.
The Cultural Extravaganza had variety of items based on themes like Seasons, Helpers of the Society, Animals, Fairy Tales and Our Festivals.
They also highlighted the importance of cleanliness through a special item. Children showcased each theme very beautifully. The events encouraged and gave each student an opportunity to display their talent. The cultural programme culminated with the Grand Finale ‘Unity in Diversity’ which was a delight to watch.
Thereafter, Brig. Sukhdev Singh presented a memento to the Chief Guest. The vote of thanks was presented by the Vice Principal, Puneet Kaur.
