NEW DELHI: CRPF Family Welfare Association (CFWA) celebrated its 20th Raising Day at CRPF Officers’ Institute, Shaurya, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.
President of CFWA, Sandhya Mishra presided over the function besides, former presidents of CWA and distinguished ladies of other CPOs/CAPFs also attended the function.
At the function, meritorious students of CRPF Public School Rohini and Dwarka were honorued, besides Ayush son of Ex-HC/GD (Mahila) Manju Sharma who appeared in MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology (US)) entrance examination-2015 and got selected and placed himself amongst three toppers of India.
To observe International Yoga Day, a talk and demo on Yoga was also held.
Sndhya Mishra, in her inaugural address, urged all members of CFWA to put in their best efforts in strengthening and streamlining the functioning of CFWA as to make a strong forum to take care of the well being of differently able personnel of CRPF, NOK of martyrs and prompt redressal of grievances of family/wards of martyrs.
