JAMMU: Officers and Jawans of 166 Bn CRPF celebrated Raksha Bandhan with the children of Sunrise Public School, Channi Himmat here on Saturday.
The children and teachers of the school tied Rakhi on the wrists of the CRPF personnel and cherished the moment.
On this occasion, Ashish Kumar Jha, Commandant 166 Bn, CRPF interacted with children and distributed sweets to them. He told the children that the festival of Raksha Bandhan is a symbol of the true love of brothers and sisters. He assured that CRPF is committed to the security of the citizens of the country and its Jawans will fulfill the promises made to all the sisters of the nation.
Santosh, Principal of the School was also present. She appreciated the role of CRPF in the nation building.
