Cross-border Firing Pak fires unprovoked, Indian Army retaliates in BG, Nowshera

JAMMU: Indian Army on Wednesday befittingly retaliated to the unprovoked firing initiated by the Pakistani Army on the Line of Control in Bhimber Gali and Nowshera sectors of Rajouri district.
After a brief lull, Pakistani Army yet again violated the ceasefire by firing heavily on forward Indian posts in Nowshera sector.
Earlier cross border firing in Nowshera stopped at 1230 hours but it resumed at 2045 hours.
“Pakistani Army initiated indiscriminate firing of Small arms heavy automatics and Recoilless Rifles from 2045 hours late this evening along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector,” defence spokesman here said.
He said that Indian Army posts retaliated strongly and effectively.
Meanwhile, earlier in the afternoon, after Bhimber Gali, Pakistani Army shelled forward posts in Nowshera sector along Line of Control in Rajouri district.
“Pakistani Army initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms heavy automatics and Recoilless Rifles from
