JAMMU: Principal Sessions Judge V.C Koul upheld one year imprisonment to S. Kuldeep Singh, son of Puran Singh, resident of RS Pura Jammu which was given by Judicial Magistrate in case of causing death by accident.
According to case on 10th March, 2006, at 11:50 AM, received by Police Station, Kathua that a bus bearing registration No.7157/JK02F on its way from Jammu towards Kathua at about 11:40 AM being driven by its driver rashly and negligently on reaching near Sahar Khad NHW while overtaking tractor bearing registration No.JK08/1421, hit the tractor and the bus rolled down from the bridge resulting in causing grievous injuries to the passengers and out of which four passengers succumbed to the injuries and other passengers were taken to Kathua, Hospital. On getting this information FIR No.67/2006 for the commission of offences punishable under section 279/337/338/304-A RPC was registered with the Police Station, Kathua. JNF
