JAMMU: Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Rajesh Sekri on Saturday rejected bail application of Ved Parkash, Jaswinder Kumar alias Sida, Mohd Farooq and Sandeep Kumar from whom SOG has recovered 5 Kg heroin. While rejecting the bail application, Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Rajesh Sekri observed that during the course of investigation is was found that accused persons are habitual criminals who are involved in various cases of smuggling of brown sugar, charas, heroin, gold, arms and ammunition. It was further observed that the prosecution is yet to examine material witnesses, propensity of petitioners to jump over bail and win over the prosecution witnesses cannot be ruled out. With these observations, the Court rejected the bail application.
