Ballia : A couple has been sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment in a 2004 dowry murder case by a Sessions Court.
Dolly Pathak was killed by her father-in-law Daddan and his wife Sharda for dowry in Maniyar area in May, 2004, according to prosecution.
After hearing both the sides, Additional Sessions Judge Ashwini Singh held the duo guilty yesterday.
The court sentenced them to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each.
