Dear Editor,
Corruption is one of the biggest problems facing our country today. The government can’t eradicate it completely since it is also involved in it. We can reduce it to a large extent by changing the mindset of all citizens. Income tax should be mandatory for all, irrespective of whether a person is a businessman or a salaried worker. In return, they should be assured of free medical facilities till their last breath and sufficient pension to provide basic needs, post-retirement. Only then, we Indians can stop worrying about money and live and enjoy life, instead of thinking about future. The entire system of the country should be changed and modified.
