‘Corruption, communalism threat to nation’s integrity’

CHENANI: Three day camp at Sudhmahadev concluded on Wednesday with a clear message that the Jammu and Kashmir was always India (Bharata), is Bharata and shall be Bharata and the enemies of India should understand in clear terms that 1.25 billion Indian citizens are one with one India.
The 38th National Integration Camp organised by JKNPP in its message across the country conveyed in clear terms that the people of J and K are no less secularists, nationalists or patriots than anybody else in the country.
It was unanimous voice that corruption, communalism and criminalisation are a serious threat to the integrity of the nation and they should be declared as ‘unlawful activities’ so that every citizen irrespective of his region, religion or caste etc. is treated equal with human dignity by the law and the people so that India goes stronger to lead the world towards peace and harmony.
The camp was attended by more than 20,000 participants from different parts of the State and schools of thought.
The camp also decided to organise a Dogra-Pahari Cultural Assembly so that a movement should be launched to mobilise public opinion for the establishment of Dogra-Pahari Pradesh so that our brethern in the Kashmir Valley shall also get an opportunity to grow in peace and harmony in the Kashmir Valley state. This shall, it was felt, provide strength to the national integration and unity of the country. Functioning of two separate civil secretariats shall be blessing in disguise and shall strengthen emotional relationship between the residents of Kashmir Valley and Jammu Pradesh.
The first Assembly Session of the Dogra Pahari Cultural Assembly shall be held in October with an open participation by the notables from different walks of life and disciplines to build the new roads of harmony among the people of three regions.
It was decided to reactivate the ‘Intra J andK Heart-to-Heart Talks’ which were held in 2005 and 2007 under the leadership of Sardar Mohd. Qayum Khan and Prof. Bhim Singh so that new initiative for new communication is developed between the residents of J&K and PoK.
National Integration Camp also congratulated Prof. Bhim Singh for building confidence among the intellectuals, youth and students of India and Pakistan. The recent visit of Prof. Bhim Singh to Pakistan on the invitation of Lawyers Congress Lahore and the honour given to Prof. Bhim Singh by the Supreme Court Bar Associations in Lahore and Islamabad have started a new chapter in the history of the two countries for the first time in 64 years.
Prominent among those who participated in the NIC camp included Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron NPP, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman NPP, Balwant Singh Mankotia President NPP, Yashpal Kundal President Young Panthers, Anita Thakur General Secretary, Jagdev Singh Coordination Secretary, Sukhdev Singh, State General Secretary, Ajaj Ahmad Bhat, Dhani Ram Atri State Secretary, Pawan Dev Singh Secretary Young Panthers, Gagan Pratap Singh Spokesman Young Panthers, Parshotam Parihar Secretary PTU, Ashok Kumar, Nirmal Kishore, Neeraj Gupta, Asha Rani and others.
