KATHUA: A meeting of All J and K 10+2 Contractual Lecturers Association Distt-Kathua was held at Shivalik Resort Dayalachak under the presidentship of Kanchan Bala on Sunday.
While addressing the gathering Kanchan said that even after the passing of Civil Services Special Provision Act 2010 for regularisation of all Adhoc/ Contractual Employees, 10+2 contractual lecturers have been debarred from the right of regularisation only.
She said “neither we have been given the right of regularisation till date nor ever salary enhance. She said we have been paid Rs.7,000 per month for the last 12 years, which is very meager amount”. She also emphased for the continuation of 10+2 lecturers on the same post till their case for regularisation is settled Vide Order No. 1328 GAD of 2009.
Kanchan appealed to Chief Minister and Dy. Chief Minister of the State to personally intervene in the matter to protect them from this type of discrimination because there is no other option left for 10+2 contractual lecturers for their future.
