JAMMU: The hunger strike by contractual lecturers (10+2) entered in the 120th consecutive day here on Wednesday.
The contractual lecturers under the banner of 10+2 Contractual Lecturers Forum assembled near Press Club and raised slogans in support of their demands. They were demanding regularisation as per the Civil Services Special Provision Act 2010.
Those who sat on chain hunger strike were Zabir Hussain Shah, Surinder Kumar, Shilpa Raina and Kiran Sharma.
Arun Bakshi State President of the Forum said that the hunger strike will continue till their demands are met.
