Constructivist approach really helps students to learn: Prof Jaspal

UDHAMPUR: An inclusive lecture regarding the lesson plans before conducting the class has been delivered by Dr Jaspal Singh Warwal, President Council for Teacher Education (CTE J&K Chapter) and Prof in Education, Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu, at Kalra College of Education in Udhampur.
While discussing the ways to improve the interests among the students, he laid stress on the uses of audio visual equipments. “Notwithstanding, the fact that the teachers are the real creator of a nation or a society, I strongly believe that the constructivist approach of the teacher helps students to perceive the subject in a lot better way,” he added.
Dr Singh also explained the 5 Es for constructivist lesson including Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate that plays a very pivotal role in the classroom generally known as 5 E in the New B.Ed course.
