UDHAMPUR: A meeting of Congress workers of Chenani-Ghordi Assembly Constituency was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Krishan Chander Bhagat, Former Member Legislative Assembly at his residence, Shivnagar, Udhampur in connection with the election of Assembly Constituency Chenani-Ghordi.
In the meeting the Congress workers of Chenani-Ghordi deeply felt that the seat of Assembly Constituency Chenani could not be bagged by the Congress Party.
“Krishan Chander former Member Legislative Assembly tried his best to do the development works in the whole constituency by giving the various administrative units and also doing the development works even then he could not succeed and win the seat” the speakers said.
In the meeting a resolution was passed that the Congress workers would work hard from the grass root for strengthening the party.
The meeting was attended by the various workers of Congress Party and Block Presidents, Sarpanchs and Panchs of Chenani-Ghordi Assembly Constituency which includes Des Raj Prasher Block President Ghordi, Dev Raj Secretary Congress, Rattan Chand Dubey Senior Congress Leader Serballa, Babu Ram Panch Jaisni, Dharam Chand Senior Congress Leader, Pritam Chand Senior Congress Leader Dalpar, Pritam Sharma Senior Congress Leader Dhandal, Jeevan Sharma Senior Congress Leader Sewna, Tulsi Dass (S.C) Senior Congress Leader Matlowa, Krishan Chand (SC) Senior Congress Leader Bup Sarar, Ganesh Dutt Senior Congress Leader Sulgar.
