NOWSHERA : Large number of Congress workers and the locals held a protest against the distribution of party tickets ignoring the senior and popular Congress leaders.
Former President Municipal Committee Nowshera Subhash Kapoor, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Adv Rajinder Prashad, Baldev Raj Choudhary, Sudarshan Sharma, Rakesh Gupta, Balwinder Singh and others said that the party’s State President has ignored the most competent leader and former Minister Dr Romesh Sharma who had a strong hold upon the people of the Constituency due to large scale developments in the area.
The people said that party will suffer heavy loss by ignoring the genuine candidates. The speakers appealed to the Party High Command to review the distribution of tickets and the right candidate may be given the ticket.
